Experience the best smallmouth bass fishing in Ontario at

Rex Lake Outpost

Rex Lake is a great outpost fishing lake as it has an excellent fishery of smallmouth bass and large northern pike and it has the extra walleye fishing in the portage (walk in) lakes. The bass fishing here has crazy good fishing as the lake itself is 11 miles long and has lots of structure with islands and reefs which are marked on our map of Great fishing spots for Rex Lake. This is a fun lake for families to see a variety of lakes and fish species. The walleye fishing is absolutely thrilling ion Little Rex Lake as you will catch a lot of walleyes which will keep you enjoying every moment! Our portage lakes are great for adventurous fishermen as pack a lunch for the day along with your fishing gear and poles and walk through our trails to another lake to fish. We have boats and motors set up for you to fish for walleye.

The cabin here at Rex Lake is very comfortable and newly renovated with 3 bedrooms, one inside full bathroom (shower, flushing toilet and vanity), a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living room. Guests here can whip up some fantastic food whether its poor man’s lobster or fish tacos and enjoy the views from this southern exposure cabin that you can see miles down each side of the lake.

The Cabin

The three-bedroom cabin on Rex Lake is built of logs harvested from the area. Built in 1999, this cabin is modeled after our other outposts, with front walls filled with windows offering the incredible views that all our camps are known for.
