We had a group of archery moose hunters early in October that were successful and had a blast! Mike and the crew make Halley’s Camps their annual moose hunt destination and know the area very well. They even ventured off for the day and Chris took them musky fishing!

We had a couple of different hunts going on at the same time. We had hunts at some of our remote cabins/outposts where there are no roads around where there is perfect moose habitat.

Dean shot his moose on opening day! That was quick! His guide Tim was not only his hunting partner but his fishing partner. Dean and Tim enjoyed the great walleye fishing that was close to camp!

And that is a wrap for the year! Our last guests of the year left on October 16!
