One Man Lake Lodge
Secluded in a blanket of trees deep in Canada’s wilderness, One Man Lake Lodge will accommodate you in winter woodland comfort. Accessible only by snowmobile in the winter season, you will find a serene setting of nature in its most untamed state.
The smell of hearty home-cooked meals linger through the dining room air while the full time staff serves you breakfast before seeing you off on your winter snowmobile adventure. A delicious dinner awaits your return from your day of ice fishing or powder riding and sight seeing.
One Man Lake Lodge lets you retreat into the snow and tall trees with eight rooms in the lodge and two winter cabins for a maximum occupancy of twenty people.
There’s plenty to do for the whole family, indoors and out. Play a game of pool or darts. Or if you feel like some warm relaxation, try the sauna or hot tub. Also, with satellite TV, you can relax and enjoy your favorite hockey game or television show. Outdoors, you can enjoy the snow with cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and of course, snowmobiling.
Outpost Cabins
Quiet time. Rex Lake, Bee Lake and Dowswell Outpost cabins (just to name a few) are nestled into the serene setting of Northwest Ontario’s Wilderness Wonderland. The cozy warmth of a wood stove completes the solitary atmosphere of these fully winterized remote cabins. This is the ultimate winter vacation - a fantastic snowmobile tour to your own private winter getaway cottage. Provisioning is included in your outpost sledding adventure and will be delivered to your cabin in anticipation of your arrival. This is winter solitude at its finest!
A short snowmobile ride into the Woodland Caribou Provincial Park provides a rich wilderness experience as well as a chance to observe the world’s largest concentration of Woodland Caribou. Spend an afternoon snowshoeing to Bilko Lake and enjoy lunch cooked over an open fire.
